About the ClientBase Browser

The ClientBase Browser version is the latest in travel agency CRM software to be produced by TRAMS Inc..  A ClientBase database has long been the standard for well-known consortium programs including GIANTS and Virtuoso.  Now vendors are starting to recognize this marketing tool and are willing to sponsor and support agencies that use it.

Installation: To use the TurnKey ClientBase Browser database you need a connection to the Internet at a speed greater than 56.6bps.  There is no other software to install, you access the database directly from any Internet Explorer browser version 5.0 or higher.  TMA will load up your existing database into the ClientBase Browser for free.

Support:  All support is provided directly by TRAMS Inc.  You can access their telephone support center or use their website and educational classes.

The TurnKey program ClientBase Browser provides you with:
A Web-based database that you get 24hour access from anywhere at www.travelmarketingassociates.com/cbb/
Client Profiles: Profiles hold all of your general client data such as name, address, phone, fax and  e-mail.  These profiles can also hold special dates (birthdays), web passwords/ID's, referrals and branch information.
Remarks: Each profile holds an individual remarks area for you to write free flow text.
Marketing Codes: This area holds the marketing information on your client such as their budget and where they would like to travel.
Employees: For corporate clients, a profile can also hold records of all of their employees.
  Activities:
This area has 4 sub-categories being Mailers, Notes, Reminders and Open Reminders.
The Mailers tag the client's record telling you that they received a direct mail or e-mail marketing piece.  These are the tags that TMA puts into your database when we send out an e-mail broadcast on your behalf.  Then you can easily track which clients received the promotions.
The Notes work as free-flow text.  The Reminders and Open Reminders work to set up alarms and keep track of deposit dates, final payments and confirmations.
Card Information: ClientBase Browser has an area to store card information on the clients.  This includes credit cards, frequent flyer numbers, and hotel or car membership numbers.
  Travel History:

You can store client travel history in their profile for future marketing efforts.

Queries: ClientBase Browser enables you to perform many queries on your database.  You can query using any of the Client Profile fields above.  This includes Activities that might indicate what promotions a client received, or when final deposits are due.
Tracking: Tracking your e-mail and direct mail efforts are done in the activities.  You can pull up a client's profile and see all Mailer tags that indicate which promotions they have received.  You can also pull a query on all clients that received a particular e-mail.

Security:
How secure is my database?
TMA takes great care and concern when it comes to Internet Security.  The TMA ClientBase Browser is protected with Verisign SSL secured site licensing which verifies that your data can only be accessed via the secured login process.  For information about the Verisign secure license click here.  The security features in the ClientBase Browser protect your system when it's being housed on the server and when you're typing in essential data such as client credit card information.

Will my client information be shared with anyone?  Who will have access  to my database?
Your database is the most valuable thing an agency owns.  TMA has a strict privacy policy that your data will only be accessed by individuals that have your login and password.  TMA will be accessing your database for two reasons:  to query the client data for an e-mail broadcast and to tag the client profiles for tracking.  The client selection process will be done via the marketing codes within ClientBase Browser.
